Ohana was built with its culture as the foundation and its people as the pillars. We value our people, recognize their efforts, and reward results. We harbor an environment where our employees can cultivate their abilities to reach their full potential. It’s our team of experienced staff and their inspiration to drive innovation in the rebate industry that has allowed Ohana to execute programs that meet the highest quality standards in the industry while providing our Customers and clients with a flawless experience.

Our team of visionary executives, with considerable retail, marketing, and technology industry expertise, has come together to transform the broken rebate model and provide solutions that add value to all participants.

Chris Quinlan (Founder and Chief Executive Officer)

Chris Quinlan is not your ordinary entrepreneur and the story behind him and his business, The Ohana Companies, stands testimony to his inspiration for change. As founder and Chief Executive Officer, Chris has revolutionized the way consumers, retailers and manufacturers participate in rebates and loyalty marketing. From introducing his Return of Customer Spend (RoCS) model, to being first to market with online reward processing, to holding the patent for aggregation of multiple rebates onto one payment, Chris has made significant contributions to the promotional marketing industry.

His idea for Ohana Companies dates back to the late 1990’s and with the many years of experience Chris has had in the rebate industry, he has been able to turn his vision into a reality. After working for a consumer products broker in Massachusetts following college, Chris started his own consumer products brokerage firm, Mid-States Sales & Marketing in Wilmington, Delaware in 1990. There he represented major food and drug brands and other clients that included 3M, Maybelline, Mattel, Hawaiian Tropic, Polaroid and Sylvania. It is during his tenure with Mid-States that Chris realized how poorly rebates were being handled since they figured heavily in his efforts to move product off the shelves for vendors.

From Chris’s perspective, consumers were frustrated by a process that was labor intensive and fulfillment companies that seemed to drag their feet in making the payment. Chris later began a Wilmington, Delaware technology company that focused on rebate and reward marketing solutions with major clients such as, Rite Aid, AutoZone, PepBoys and Happy Harry’s and continued forward with his efforts for a more efficient, consumer-friendly way to handle rebates with the creation of Ohana. Thanks to Chris and his vision, Ohana Companies has become a leader in the promotional marketing industry, ranking as one of the fastest growing, privately-held companies both regionally and nationally.
